PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

AMSOIL Synthetic 2-Cycle Oils are superior quality lubricants which provide maximum protection and outstanding performance in virtually all two-cycle gasoline engines. AMSOIL Synthetic 2-Cycle Oils provide lower engine temperatures, higher power output and cleaner operation than conventional oils provide. AMSOIL Synthetic 2-Cycle Oils also provide maximum oxidation protection, anti-corrosive characteristics and improved starting in low temperatures.

AMSOIL Synthetic Injector 2-Cycle Oil is formulated for use in all injector-type two-cycle gasoline engines. It may also be used as a pre-mix at the manufacturer's recommended mix ratio.

AMSOIL Synthetic 100:1 2-Cycle Oil is formulated for pre-mixing with gasoline at a fuel/oil mix ratio of 100:1.

Resist Thermal Breakdown from Heat

AMSOIL Synthetic 2-Cycle Oils resist oil breakdown caused by heat to prevent the formation of varnish and carbon deposits. AMSOIL 2-Cycle Oils also lower engine temperatures to inhibit power-robbing thermal expansion in hard-driven engines. The protection given to engine components reduces maintenance costs.

Resist High Temperature Deposits

AMSOIL Synthetic 2-Cycle Oils promote clean burning. They form no gum, varnish, sludge, carbon or ash residues. Deposits previously formed from conventional oils are often dissolved. Spark plug fouling and excessive carbon build-up on piston domes and exhaust ports are virtually eliminated. Rings remain free for excellent compression and combustion, and exhaust emissions are greatly reduced.

Reduce Wear Throughout the Engine

AMSOIL Synthetic 2-Cycle Oils protect pistons and rings from wear caused by metal-to-metal contact under the hottest loaded conditions. The lubricity properties in AMSOIL 2-Cycle Oils provide a durable film that protects moving parts against wear. APPLICATION

AMSOIL Synthetic 2-Cycle Oils exceed the lubrication and performance requirements of all gasoline-powered two-cycle engines built after 1960. Applications include outboard motors, motorcycles, snowmobiles.  ATVs, chainsaws, lawnmowers and more.

AMSOIL Synthetic 2-Cycle Oils surpass API TC-3, TD-3, TD-4 and NMMA TC-WII and TC-W3 performance test requirements as listed.

AMSOIL 100:1 2-Cycle Oil is not suitable for mixing with methanol or other special fuels. However, it may be used with reformulated, oxygenated or other alcohol-enhanced gasoline.

MIX RATIOS

The mix ratio for AMSOIL 100:1 2-Cycle Oil is as follows:

• 1.3 oz. oil per 1 U.S. gallon gasoline
• 0.34 oz. oil per 1 liter gasoline
• 8 oz. oil per 6 U.S. gallon gasoline

For AMSOIL Injector Oil, mix at engine manufacturer's recommended mix ratio in either pre-mix or oil injection systems. Engines modified for racing should use 50:1 mix ratio, with adjustments to the mix ratio being made based on head temperatures and spark plug examination.

NEW ENGINES UNDER WARRANTY

The use of AMSOIL Synthetic 2-Cycle Oils will not void engine warranties. Warranties are based upon the use of oils meeting specific tests. AMSOIL Synthetic 2-Cycle Oils meet the current requirements as listed and thus are perfectly suited for use in any new engine without affecting the validity of the warranty.
